Apologies for running behind on the replays here! I’ve been scrambling in last-minute release checklist mode to launch Fiction.show publicly later this week, and running in crazy mode! But! Both replays are below!
The 9/10 call is Cassie showing her audiobook systems + how she’s using Astra to overhaul her Shopify into a super gorgeous new look, and the second half is me showing how Astra hyper-SEO-ed my studio site and overhauled my LinkedIn, then going through how to use Midjourney like a ninja to get super unique and consistent styles for your videos and graphics like this!

The 9/18 call is Cassie showing her Youtube backend and numbers and me showing how to edit video in Astra, which is craaaaazy good! And then a whole big discussion on research on AI movie making, things that are taking off right now, and what we can do to get in on this!
Over the weekend this week, I did my first long-haul test run in my Fiction.show app, running a 30 minute film mostly autonomously with Fable, and Astra editing. I’m gonna make a full post on this breaking down the process and cost and what I’ve learned, and what I’m going to do with the next one but HOT DAMN - I have ~8 hrs into this whole project, minus side-trips into app improvements and fixes. And because Minimax ended up being a bear to work with, I’m estimating less time for films made with Seedance 2.5, which is gonna be my next go-through next week.
Is it feasible to make a film or longer-form episode a week now?? YEP. Which I’m still kind of in shock of.
But I started rolling in earnest Saturday night, let it run overnight, and it finished last night. I cut the first rough cut last night (because I was too excited about this to sleep, ha!) WE ARE AT NEAR-PUSH BUTTON MOVIES.
The rough cut: (alas, with all my marked up things to fix re: Minimax borks, so this project also solidified that we really need to work with Seedance 2.5!) But this film is gonna be solid, and likely releasing next week!
Astra’s rolling some fixes now, and I’ll show the breakdown once I have the final film in hand!!
